Issue Position

My dedication to protecting our servicemen and women does not stop at the battlefield. As a private citizen, I have had the opportunity of guiding Honor Flight Volunteer Honoring our veterans by leading tours to D.C. so that our greatest generation can visit their memorials.

Our veterans and their families have sacrificed so much, and they have done it with the expectation -- the obligation -- that our nation would provide them the care that they would need in the years following their service. Yet our country is letting them down.

As your Congressman, I am committed to providing veterans with the best healthcare our nation can provide, as well as promoting the opportunities they need for their transition to civilian life. I believe our nation must be there when they need us the most. I am not afraid to address these issues with real reform and input from all sources, especially the private sector.
